Our game-based learning program “Ray’s Gone” was featured on FRANCE 24’s “Focus”, in an episode examining how organised crime recruits people online through so-called “yami baito” (“shadow jobs”).
The report highlights how “easy, well-paid” posts can conceal illegal activities, how instructions can be delivered through messaging apps, and how authorities are working to detect and deter these offers.
Within this context, Ray’s Gone is presented as a classroom tool that helps students learn—through a mystery/quiz format—how sharing personal data (ID documents, face photos, and other personal information) can be exploited for recruitment into dangerous or illegal jobs.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to have this Japan-based issue—and an education response—shared with an international audience.
